Welcome!

Welcome to our new website! We would like to share some information with you on our school, St. Patrick’s Girls’ National School. We can be found on Cambridge Road, Ringsend, Dublin 4, very close to the Liffey and the East Link Bridge. We are just across the river from the 3 Arena and the Luas Terminus and about 15 minutes walk from Aviva Stadium. Our nearest DART station is Grand Canal Dock which is an 8 minute walk to the school.

Our school shares its building and campus with St. Patrick’s Boys’ National School and we both serve the children of St. Patrick’s Parish, Ringsend and its environs.

Our Patron is the Archbishop of Dublin. Our chairperson is The Very Rev Ivan Tonge.

The number of pupils in our school is approx 160, which allows for 8 single stream classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class.

We currently have 8 Mainstream Class Teachers, 3 Support  Teachers,1 Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator, 3 Special Needs Assistants and an administrative principal.

5th Class presenting their projects on the Irish Famine ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช
Our Green-Schools committee attended the Green-Schools Water Awards last Wednesday at Wood Quay. They showcased their activities from throughout the year and performed the schoolโ€™s Green Code, โ€œWe Stand for Water.โ€ The school was proudly presented with the Green Flag and received a plaque for being named the Best Water School in the Dublin region!
Our Parents vs Teachers football match today. It was a brilliant game, played in great spirit. It finished in a 3-3 draw, with the teachers winning on penalties. Thank you to everyone for taking part, and for coming to watch โšฝ
Junior and Senior Infants taking part in the @earlylearninginitiative Numeracy Week today. The theme was Measurement. Thank you to all the parents for helping out ๐Ÿ™
A huge congratulations to our football team who won their semi-final today after a dramatic penalty shootout โšฝ It was a rematch of last year's final. A brilliant achievement girls, well done๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰
Well done to everyone who took part in the first Dublin @run.kidsrun event in Clanna Gael on Saturday. A great day was had by all ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

Thank you for donating your plastic bottles! Thanks to your support, the Green Schools Committee has raised โ‚ฌ32 so far. The funds will go towards purchasing a water butt to help keep the newly refurbished school garden thriving.
