Welcome!

Welcome to our new website! We would like to share some information with you on our school, St. Patrick’s Girls’ National School. We can be found on Cambridge Road, Ringsend, Dublin 4, very close to the Liffey and the East Link Bridge. We are just across the river from the 3 Arena and the Luas Terminus and about 15 minutes walk from Aviva Stadium. Our nearest DART station is Grand Canal Dock which is an 8 minute walk to the school.

Our school shares its building and campus with St. Patrick’s Boys’ National School and we both serve the children of St. Patrick’s Parish, Ringsend and its environs.

Our Patron is the Archbishop of Dublin. Our chairperson is The Very Rev Ivan Tonge.

The number of pupils in our school is approx 160, which allows for 8 single stream classes from Junior Infants to 6th Class.

We currently have 8 Mainstream Class Teachers, 3 Support  Teachers,1 Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator, 3 Special Needs Assistants and an administrative principal.

Thank you for donating your plastic bottles! Thanks to your support, the Green Schools Committee has raised €32 so far. The funds will go towards purchasing a water butt to help keep the newly refurbished school garden thriving.

#Samechance: Embrace difference, embrace neurodiversity. Our group stepped out in the sunshine this morning to support World Autism Awareness Day. We support AsIAm on their #SameChance campaign Last video: Some girls from our Neurodiversity group joined Microsoft DreamSpace, along with 300 schools for a virtual event to mark the beginning of Autism Awareness Month. We learned how to communicate through coding and we even created our own digital fidgets! We learned what it’s like to communicate in a unique wayπŸ˜€
