This morning, when we came to school, we were saddened by the news that Geraldine Thorpe, Ella’s granny, passed away yesterday after a relatively short illness. Geraldine was a great friend to the schools of the parish down the years, expending much of her tremendous energy in fundraising for many causes, not least of which was our schools. We would just like her family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very sad time in their lives. “Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis..”
