Spain is a large Europen country next to Portugal and France.
Spain is famous of its fish, such as tapas and paella. Tapas are small dishes of snaks which are served anytime especially in small bars. Pealla is a dish with all typs of fish and rice in it and another spanish favourite is serrano ham.
Sports are very big in Spain, soccer would be the biggest, other sports are basketball, tennis, cycling, handball and golf. In 1992 they held the Olympic games in Barcalona and the world cup in 1992.
The high mountain range such as the pyrenees and the sierro nevada dominate mainland Spain. The batenic islands lie offshore in the mediterranen while the autonmous Canary Islands are to be found in the in the Atlantic ocean off the cost of Africa.
