Here are some photos of our new Junior Infants on their first day with Ms Ryan… They are SO grown up!!

Another busy week for Junior Infants!  We were just like real artists for a while and we had our own art exhibition in the hall, everyone came to see what great pictures we had drawn with our book buddies…  thank you to everyone who helped us during the Zoom Ahead with Books project.

And today there was a bit of Mexican Madness in our classroom!  Don’t we look fantastic playing our instruments and wearing our Mexican hats!  Such fun!

Wow!  We have been so busy in Junior Infants for the last few weeks!  We had a great time in the National Performing Arts Centre learning all different kinds of dancing, we love dancing in school too with Ms. Carpenter.  We have been doing lots of music too, we even got to dress up as lions and elephants when we were listening to The Carnival of the Animals.  We went for a great sponsored walk too, all around the park and the stadium, we even had a picnic in the playground!  And today we planted our flowers out into the school garden.  We hope the grow strong and tall just like us!

 What a day we had on Friday! We all brought our teddies into school and they watched us work, rest and play all day!  We brought them to PE, we showed them how to write, do our maths, we sang songs together, read stories and even had our lunch together!  Now our teddies know just how busy we are during the day! All the teddies made friends with eachother too!  We think they had a great day at school!

Every Friday morning the Junior Infant girls love going over to the hall to practise their GAA skills with Johnny.  They are getting really good with the ball and most of all they have great fun!
