A Busy Few Months!

The last few months have been really busy here at St Patrick’s Girls’ National School!

We have been on many trips – including Dublin Port, The Incinerator, The Ark, The Ombudsman and to the National College of Ireland. 5th also went to meet with Norma Foley in Microsoft. We have been trying out athletics and football with the FAI as well as rugby with Leinster Rugby. We also had a football match with 6th Class playing against the teachers. (6th Class won!)  At present, we are doing hip hop dancing with Hannah We went to Ringsend College for Science Week and also to see Santa!  Everyone also took part in Maths Week. We have been doing drumming workshops with parents and also parents were working in class baking and playing Rummikub. Mr Feeney is currently running a fitness class for parents too. Our Student Council is working hard too. So far they have had a cake sale to raise money for Epilepsy Ireland, changed our school uniform policy and organised a lot of fun activities and toys for our yard. As part of our Amber Flag work, we had a crazy hair day and as part of our Green Flag work we are recycling more. Everyone dressed up for Halloween and went to the panto at Christmas. Infants had a Halloween concert and the whole school did an amazing Christmas concert  for family and friends.
