I’d like to point you towards a set of YouTube Videos demonstrating some maths processes! Niamh is a Primary Teacher who has set up her own YouTube Channel – these short videos maybe helpful to parents when it comes to supporting your child with her maths homework. These videos are aimed mainly at teachers, but they could be very useful for you at home too! I hope you find them helpful!

6th Class have been discovering just how popular the Irish are around the world… did you know all these landmarks “go green” to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? From The Great Wall of China to the Empire State Building and loads of places in between, it seems everyone wants to be Irish for a day!
6th class were involved in a very interesting project with Dublin City Council as part of Dublin’s Culture Connects: The National Neighbourhood. Throughout January and February ALIGHT! artists Muirne Bloomer, Vanessa Daws and Hugh Brown have been working with the children to explore themes of journeys – both of the imagination and the realThis film was screened for the girls and boys today and we think it is fantastic! ALIGHT! includes a programme of events, as well as a series of visits for local groups to the National Gallery and Dublin City Gallery the Hugh Lane, a creative dance/design project with children at St Patrick’s Primary School, and taster art/drama workshops with community groups from Riccy’s Youth Café, St Andrews Resource Centre, Pembroke Library and The Lir Academy.
